Dear friends old and new:
Thank you for visiting my new website blog. I am excited to start a new adventure. I’ve decided to combine my various passions into one fun business: Melissa Bradley – Marin Momma.
In following months I will refine this site. I plan to blog (write regularly online) about the things I’m an expert at as well as those things that interest me or I am passionate about.
Most of you know I’ve had an extremely successful career in real estate. I started selling real estate when I was 22. When I was 26 years old I opened my own brokerage. I’ve been a Realtor for over 25 years. At the height of my career selling homes, I sold more houses in Marin County than any other agent from 1998-2009.
During the busiest time in my career, I also gave birth to 4 amazing kids. Jason, my oldest is 18 and he’s about to be off to college. I also have 3 younger ones: Bobby is almost 15, Summer is 13 and my baby girl Sunshine is 9 years old.
I had 11 real estate offices in Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties. Just recently I decided to close my corporation Melissa Bradley Real Estate Inc., doing business as Bradley Real Estate, and open a sole proprietorship Melissa Bradley Real Estate, but I’ll still be using my old logo for a while until I can decide on my new look.
Around 2011, when my baby girl Sunshine was 2, my older daughter Summer was 6, my son younger Bobby was 7 and my oldest son Jason ( from a previous marriage) was 10 years old, I started a public blog called Marin Momma, I also started a book called Tips for Traveling with kids.
Due to a lot of stress in an extremely unhealthy marriage, I put the dream of my blog and my book on hold indefinitely.
On November 1st, 2018 my divorce was settled and I was awarded my company in the settlement. I decided because too many unfortunate circumstances that occurred I needed to close that business down and start fresh… so voila! Here we go… welcome to Melissa Bradley and Marin Momma Real Estate, Travel, Community.
I’m also planning to open 2-day spas in Marin by the summertime.
Massages helped me live through the anxiety of extremely contentious divorce battles in court that had spilled over into every aspect of my life.
Thank you to a very special person that held my hand during the most difficult time and my life and has also nvested in my new business ventures, my best friend and my very own Marin Momma, Sherry Bradley! Yes, my maiden name is Bradley. I was born Melissa Day Bradley in June of 1971 at Marin General Hospital.
